What to bring with you?

We recommend taking your vehicle registration certificate to the technical inspection. The inspection can also be carried out without it, but in that case, the validity mark will not be added to the certificate. Within Estonia, this does not affect the use of the vehicle, but when travelling abroad, it is important that the inspection mark is present on the registration certificate.

We also recommend checking your vehicle’s lights in advance and ensuring that the required additional equipment is present (wheel chocks, fire extinguisher, warning triangle, and a first aid kit for vehicles owned by legal entities). Additional equipment can be purchased, and fire extinguisher inspections can be performed on-site at our service stations. Vehicle fire extinguishers must be checked annually.

Anyone can present a vehicle for technical inspection – the owner, possessor, responsible user, or any other person. The owner’s presence is not required.
